YouTube launched Vevo “Hulu for music videos,” one can find Vevo content on YouTube itself right now.
On YouTube one can see an account for EminemVEVO. This is a kind of promotion for the new service.
There is the video branded with the Vevo logo as well as the page that shows the links to visit Vevo. There are a lot of YouTube/Vevo pages that suddenly appeare.
Vevo together with EM decided to make Warner the last remaining major label holdout for the project.
Warner signed an agreement with YouTube to hosts music videos there but still there are other labels that decided to replace the content from YouTube over to Vevo. One should point that such videos can be used free of charge but there will be an advertisement similar to the Hulu model.
