Those who use YouTube and use “old web browser” are able to view an interstitial warning according to which they will have to upgrade in case they want to use the latest features on the site.
Despite the fact that the company is going to drop support for the browser, a user will have to view videos after March 13, but as for the new feature, the may not work properly.
The search giant started to notify its users in the middle of last year that it was going to remove support for such old browsers. But now users can take advantage of a specific date for the change.
According to Google, it is going to remove support from Google Docs as well as Google Sites on March 1.
Such actions are happening due to the wake of revelations that alleged Chinese hackers pilfered intellectual property from Google by means of a vulnerability in IE6.
The company still continues to use the latest web technologies to provide new features to users.
