firefoxDespite the fact that many people consider Microsoft is the real rival of Firefox, one should not forget about Google. You can say that Microsoft has it market share that is about 64.36 percent, Google ascended its game due to Chrome browser.
Many users stick to Mozilla Firefox as it has a number of excellent add-ons and extensions but still they should not forget about other alternatives.
Still one can say that Internet Explorer is a viable threat to Firefox as Microsoft plays an important role in operating systems. Due to it one can make enough inertia, i.e. many Windows users when using IE never discover that that have browser alternatives.
One should note that Google Chrome is the real competitor to Firefox as it offers open source with a strong developer/extension story and it beats everyone if talk about its performance.
But still Firforx has such add-ons as ForecastFox (in-browser weather updates), and AdBlock Plus (blocking ads).
According to TechCrunch, it is much easier to create Google Chrome that for Firefox, also these add-ons evidently do note compete with Chrome’s performance in the same way that Firefox add-ons do for Firefox.
Mozilla has to do something, not only open a Firefox add-on marketplace in 2010, it has to better its browser performance.
