One should say the Windows 7 has been available in the market for about five months. During that time the operating system proved to be the fastest-selling It became known that for that period of time more than 90 million copies were sold. Although, it is considered to be tremendous success, Microsoft still continues updating as well as developing the platform.

According to different sources found in the Internet, the company is working on the development of SP1, moreover, there are reports saying that the new version is ready and it undergoes beta tests. Also they say that it will be launched at the end of 2010.

The first speculation was noticed on a Malaysian Web site known as TechARP.com. It claims that Microsoft is developing SP1 but the launch of this version has been accelerated due to some serious problems connected with the operating system. In fact, one should admit that such details are quite vague, i.e. what problem could warrant such an urgent change in the development cycle of SP1.

One can also find online reports that say about a leaked version of the Windows 7 SP1 beta. It is not confirmed whether it is true or not, but the new operating system may come with some alterations as well as new technologies.
