One should note that a big part of people watch the Superbowl because of the commercials but not for watching the football. If it is true then you may let down because the broadcast ads was boring while the football game was really great last night.
No doubts you saw the Google Paris as that was not so elegant. According to some opinion Google’s ad didn’t do anything to advance their brand or image as Google is considered to be a search giant. But still there are others that consider the usual lame beer joke commercials are well done.
The reason to such estimations can be explained by the fact that Google did not invest millions in order to produce the commercial. Probably pundits are not happy with lower-cost broadcast television ads because they are also effective if compare with high-cost ones. Probably such opinion is a mistake.
In general the in-house creative team of Google did a good job in their first Superbowl ad, moreover, they can proud of it.
