Delhi: Now hackers hack TCS websites via DNS hijack , TCS is the country’s biggest IT service company’s website. Tata Consultancy Services’ website ‘tcs. com’ fell prey to hacking.

A ‘For Sale’ message was placed on the website in English and French for a whole day by the cyber terrorists. Not only that, they also offered email identification at abed_uk@hotmail.com.

The website has now been restored by the company and further investigations are on. According to security professionals, internet sites can easily be hacked if the Web software is not advanced.

The hack is said to be a DNS hijack. DNS hijacking is the practice of making an illicit modification to a DNS server, which directs a universal resource locator to a different internet site.
