World’s one of the giant IT outsourcing companies Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) recovered from the crisis of getting its website hacked. It has become the joke of the day that India’s one of the top IT companies TCS found their domain name on sale online last Sunday.

The company’s website was hacked and was put up for sale in two languages – English and French. This is definitely going to put the company’s service history at stake who claims to be an IT consultancy firm of top notch. It’s really a total embarrassment.

Initial investigation says hackers targeted the Domain Server at Network Solution, another top player in the industry, and succeeded to put the domain name www.tcs.com on sale for nearly about 3 hours. Domain name was restored at 7 am the same day. Moreover network Solutions is currently handling more than 6.4 million domains on its servers.

www.Techie-buzz.com has reported the involvement of a French hacker. Analysts said it is a DNS hijack where all of the incoming requests for domain name resolve get redirected to another domain. The same kind of attack Twitter also suffered last year.
