At this year’s Mobile World Congress, T-Mobile USA announced the launch of its new USB stick that will support HSPA+ (High Speed Packet Access Plus) which can be used to access high speed wireless network.

Till now this service was being provided only in Philadelphia. The company also announced the plans for another high speed technology LTE (Long-Term Evolution).

T-Mobile also announced the release of another movie downloading service Blockbuster which will come with HTC’s HD2. The HSPA+ technology will be made available nationwide by the middle of the year.

T-Mobile is claiming an increase up to 3 to 5 times in connection speed as compared to current 3G technology.

The stick will run on Mac and Windows. It will also support 3G, EDGE and Wi-Fi. The storage can be extended to 16 GB. The price has not been confirmed yet.
