Sony announced the launch of 3-D technology

This summer all hardcore gamers will find Sony’s 3-D stereoscopic gaming for PlayStation 3 available in the market, as the company spokesperson reported. Moreover, Sony has also announced the availability of application store for the console and its increased internal capacity of 1 TB.

Sony is one of the TV manufacturers working hard on 3-D technology. It is also possible that the company will launch PS 3 update to watch 3D Blu-ray movies.

As reported by John Koller, director of hardware marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment, all the existing playstations will support the 3D update. He also announced the launch of Motion Control later this year.

Sony is in full gear to compete with Microsoft’s Project Natal gaming which is expected to finish this year. So all the gamers should wait two excellent technologies by the end of this year, Project Natal and Sony’s 3D-stereoscopic gaming with Motion Control.
