Soleckshaw, solar power vehicle to deliver post fast

To promote more use of solar energy in the country, the Indian Postal Department has taken the initiative. It has provided eco friendly solar vehicles to its past masters so that they can move around more easily and frequently than bicycles. The department has named the vehicle as Soleckshaw.
The vehicle is priced at Rs 25000. it is presently being available to the post masters in Delhi, Ranchi and Jaipur. Soon it will also be made available across India. Kinetic Motors has manufactured the vehicle. Union minister Sachin Pilot has said that “This is a very good effort by the Indian Government to modernize the Postal department which will help in delivering of the posts pretty fast.”

Sulujja Firodia Motwani, managing director of Kinetic Motor has said that, “This vehicle will go in to operation in Rajasthan initially from which we will collect the feedback. This will help us in production during mass numbers.” The vehicle can run at a speed of 30KM per hour. If the vehicle runs successfully, more such vehicles will be produced after receiving feedbacks from the users. It is expected that the department is now capable of delivering the post fast then ever before.
