Samsung has launched its most costly handset in India. Samsung has unveils the all new Samsung B7722 which comes with a rich set of features. The B7722 comes with dual SIM facility where one SIM will operate on 3G and the other at GPRS/EDGE. However, if you look at both the SIM at a time, they support 2G as well.
After its recent launch in Sweden, the company has decided to launch this phone in India also. The price of this handset has been set to Rs. 23,000. The Samsung B7722 is all new of its kind.
The handset comes with a 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen, with 256k color and ideal resolution (240 x 400) pixels. It also comes with a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash support and QVGA video recording option at the rate of 30 fps (frames per second).
The phone is equipped with GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and also supports 3G HSPDA 2100 but only with one SIM. It is also well prepared with Class 12 GPRS (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots) 32-48 kbps and Class 12 EDGE. Further, it features a Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth v2.1 with A2D. It also offers microSD card which is expandable memory up to 8 GB.
It carries Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery which provides you a talk time of up to 12 hrs 50 min and is capable of 420 hrs in standby mode. The handset is packed with stereo FM radio with RDS and FM recording. The messaging section comes with SMS, Email, MMS, IM, Push email and RSS. Further, it offers browser WAP 2.0/x HTML, MP3, MP4 player, document viewer, Voice memo and organizer.
However, it is to be noted that the handset has been priced at Rs. 23,000 and tends to set itself towards the high end community. It is probably the most costly phone in the field of dual SIM’s handset.
