Samsung Corby Pop at pocket friendly price

New Delhi: Good news for Samsung lovers and also for their pockets as the handset maker intends to launch Samsung Corby Pop, a much cheaper version of Samsung Corby. It is a low-end mobile device and is looks quite similar to its descendent Corby S3650.

It has a price tag of below 7000 rupees in India, which is around $ 150. Samsung seems to be making sure the phone is really affordable.

Its features include 1.3 megapixel camera, 22 MB internal memory, FM radio with recording option and battery with a capacity of 960 mAh to 8 hours talk time.

The Corby Pop features touch screen with a resolution of 240×320 pixels. The phone also has added in it the new applications – Palringo IM and program for simulating telephone calls.

Users can access social networking sites, application Parlingo IM for instant messaging and function of a false call.

The competition for other handset makers is getting tougher and Samsung seems to be making sure no stone is unturned.
