Charging the phone without plugging it into a socket sounds unrealistic but Nokia is planning to make it real. Nokia is all set to deliver the next generation charger.

Nokia has produced a technique in which a battery charger takes its energy from the every day movements the general smart phone is put through. Nokia has recently applied for a copyright for this new technology which enables the cell phones in future getting charged by themselves without any need of the socket or plug in.

Nokia technology is that the frame is equipped with the “rail mechanism” and it enables the movement of the set vertically and horizontally. The rails incorporate strips of piezoelectric crystals at every end which when compressed by the frame facilitates generating electricity by phone’s or the user’s movement thus, restored for further use in a capacitor.

So the movement of the phones while traveling even when they are in the pockets, the piezoelectric crystals could be at work charging the phones.
