On Wednesday Nintendo showed off its upcoming wares among them the company introduced the sequel to 2007′s Super Mario Galaxy.

The sequel will appear in the market on May 23, it comes with 3D planets as well as expansive galaxies, moreover, one can take advantage of new gameplay elements that were not used in its predecessor.

The first is “drill”, Mario will have to find a drill on a planet and then decide where to drill down in to the soil. The task of Mario is to find the final star with the help of which Mario will be carried to the next planet.

Also Mario will have to fight a boss that looks like a large round robot that has a glass underbelly. In order to beat the robot, Mario has to drill down at the right spot that helps crack his glass belly. In order to win Mario has to do that three times.

The game includes some secrets like drilling through a planet, a dozen coins or stars to collect as well as finding yourself inside the world.

It also offers the second gameplay feature, i.e. the ability to go through levels with Yoshi that is consider to be Mario’s dinosaur. He is in the egg and to break him, one should press the A button to hop on his back. Due to such actions both of them are able to move across the planet together.
