Microsoft sends Windows Phone 7 to deveplopers

Microsoft has shipped it’s about to be released Windows Phone 7 to the developers to get feedbacks from them before releasing the phone in the market. It has sent the device on prototype devices from Asus, LG and Samsung. However, the Microsoft employees are already using the phone for several months.

Microsoft has begun shipping the device with pseudo-beta version of Windows Phone 7 to developers, carriers and partners. However, it is learnt that the new mobile operating system will take few more month before it is released to the public use. But it is believed that the handset will be released in the market for the holiday shopping seasons this year.

At this time, the focus is on the development community whose support to the Windows Phone 7 is essential and integral to its success. Terry Myerson, Engineering Corporate Vice President, said that more than 1000 Microsoft employees are already using the phone for several months. Still a lot of more feedback is needed from the developers and users before releasing the phone in the real market.
