Maruti Alto, which is without doubt India’s best selling automobile, is now all set to lunch the car with upgraded and powerful 1.0K-series engine in the market for making it even more useful to the users. The company has been planning to incorporate these crucial changes. It is now facing tough competition in the market. There are more changes on the anvil.
Maruti Alto used to come with 800 cc engines. However, the company has been planning to raise the capacity of engine. It has since than made efforts to install the same engine supported by cars like Maruti A-Star, Zen Estilo and Wagon R. The car will be installed with new engine. And after that the car will produce 66 bhp and 90 NM torque to enhance its speed substantially.
The experts say that installing upgraded engine in Alto will result in greater change for the users and will enrich the driving experience. The car will be much easier to drive. Maruti Suzuki India wants to take on Chevrolet’s Spark, its competition in the market. Alto is also planning some interior changes such as new rear mirrors, new headrest to the front seats. According to the experts, all these changes are already in place.
