LG Displays are considered to be the first in the world that get Microsoft’s official Windows 7 Touch Logo certification dedicated for its in-cell touch screen panels. The displays measure 13.3 inches and are created for notebooks.

The company integrated touch sensors into the screens. Such technology diminishes light reflection that helps decline brightness.

According to Dr.Ian-Jae Chung, the LG Display’s CTO and Executive Vice President, such technology is used only on small devices such as mobile phones.

The company is going to apply superior touch functions to large IT products such as monitors and notebooks in order to become a leader in this market trend.
