According to iPhone and iTunes rumors, several alterations will be offered to Apple gadget owners. Also they say that Apple may replace Google with Bing for several key iPhone services, also the company is thinking about a browser-based version of iTunes due to which it will be possible to buy music for your iPod and there will be no need to launch the bloated Tunes software client.
Also the company is going to create a Web-based version of the iTunes Store called iTunes.com. According to the WSJ, Apple has a major target, i.e. to get iTunes buy links that connect to iTunes.com on as many Websites as possible. The company already provides fitted buy links via iTunes Link Maker.
The Wall Street Journal learned that despite the fact the company is going to make Bing the default search engine for the iPhone’s Web browser, Bing Maps can become the iPhone’s default mapping application.
But those who use Google will be able to use Google Maps by means of Google’s all-in-one iPhone app.
According to CNBC’s Jim Goldman, Apple is going to create its own search brand, but also the company is able to use Microsoft’s search technologies underneath an Apple-branded search product.
