inq_new_wAt the GigaOm Mobilize conference INQ’s CEO Frank Meehan confessed that the company had considered other operating systems which also include Windows Mobile and Palm’s WebOS.
At the same time, he also said, “We came to the conclusion that aside from licensing Palm [WebOS], which is a fairly difficult thing to do, Android was really most suited for our plans with touch-screen devices”.
INQ made a place in the market of smartphones after launching pocket friendly social networking handsets like Mini and Chat phones which are friendly to Twitter and the INQ1 which is especially made for Facebook lovers.
As INQ asserts, an android is the best option for the company because of the great customization it brings to its users.
