Recently there has been a leak in the specs of an upcoming HTC device and it has been caught by the guys at Mobilecrunch.

And it looks really impressive. It has been confirmed by Mobilecrunch that the device is the well known HTC Scorpion.

It has been reported that HTC Scorpion will use a 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon processor.

Recently Qualcomm has also announced that it is going to release new updated and faster versions of Snapdragon processors and this information leak also confirms that HTC is going to be the first device to use this faster processor.

It is reported that this new processor will be 500Mhz faster than the current one. HTC has also reported the availability of Wimax in its new device.

So all we can say that this not going to be an ordinary smartphone which we use nowadays! Scorpion may also be based on the new Android version 2.2 which is in return to be launched under the name “Froyo”.
