On Tuesday HP said that soon the company will introduce a Windows 7-powered slate PC that will come with a complete computing experience compared to Apple’s iPad.
The device will provide a user with a full Web browsing experience. It is expected that it will be a tablet PC that will be equipped with Adobe’s Flash multimedia format. One should admit that a bonus of the Windows 7-based device is considered to be full Adobe support.
Phil McKinney, HP’s VP and chief technical officer for its Personal Systems Group provided a video of the HP tablet in action. Due to the video one could see how a user could navigate with the help of simple hand gestures.
The gadget can also be used as a video player, a navigational tool and even as an e-reader. But still nothing have been said about its specific information and also its price together with release dates.
Apart form HP, other companies among which one can notice Acer and Microsoft are also planning to manufacture tablet computers.
In fact, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer showcased a prototype HP tablet which is based on Windows 7 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January and said that other similar products were under the development.

I don’t care who introduces a pad or tablet, the fatal flaw is NO REAL KEYBOARD! Those who talk about its versatility and functionality clearly do not do serious work while on the road. However you cannot fix stupid so spend your money. I will keep my Netbook since I have to compose text and get the most out of my time.
