TwitterYou might be surprised to know that the Government actually wants its workers to spend more time on Twitter, but this in fact is true.

Not just that! An exclusive 20-page guide to tweeting in the workplace has also been published.

This guide has advices for the workers who fell interested in coming out with the issues of the day by the use of ultra-successful micro-blogging phenomenon.

The achievement of The Royal Family and 10 Downing Street on Twitter has been followed by the report. A whopping 467,000 followers have been attracted to the feed of Prime Minister’s wife, Sarah Brown.

As per the advice from “Template Twitter Strategy for Government Departments”, any number of tweets between two and ten per day are enough but users shouldn’t be following those who aren’t following them as this will turn out to be a wastage of time.
