Competitors imposed Google with antirust claims. The virtual monopoly of Google has its own benefits due to which the search giant achieves success. The better Google is at search as well as search advertising, the more market share it is able to gain. The more market it gains, the better it is at search and search advertising.

According to David Coursey, nobody compels users to use Google search. Also nobody forces people to use Google AdWords for their promotions.

Till present day Google was not charged of any kind of extortion or Google AdWords for their promotions. Google’s competitors are concerned about the fact that the search giant holds a big part of market.

It is understandable in case users did not use Google, it would not be so popular as well as successful and it would not be able to hold the market share that it actually has at the moment. Google’s success can be regarded as vicious circle.

In case businesses can operate free of governance, it may mean that a successful company can gain a dominant stake and as a result it becomes a victim of its own success. In this situation the company needs intervention in order to open competition in the market.

Google is the main player in the market as it knows how to meet customer needs. It gained success only due to customer acceptance.
