Google’s Nexus One Is Expected to Appear this Week

If everything goes smoothly, we will be able to see Google’s Nexus One this week. Bu still the company did not make any official announcement

Despite the fact that the device was produced by HTC, it will be branded as a Google phone, moreover, it will be based on the version 2.1 of Google Android.

According to Engadget and Gizmodo, the device will come with a 3.7-inch screen and a 5-megapixel camera, an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, a light sensor. Furthermore, one can find Wi-Fi radio with Bluetooth, an FM speaker, open GL ES 2.0 capable graphics as well as a Snapdragon processor.

It is expected that the phone will be available for about 530 unlocked or $180 with a two-year lock-in with T-Mobile.

T-Mobile was the first company that was chosen to offer Nexus One, HTC had tested the Nexus One for T-Mobile’s 3G network. Later it was reported that two versions of the phone, i.e. the T-Mobile version and an unlocked version were sold to consumers by Google which meant that both versions would be available.

The Nexus One is considered to be a continued push made by Google into the market of smartphones that is expected will achieve significant success. One should be noted that a big number of phones based on Google’s platform were listed among Everything Channel’s 10 Coolest Smartphones of 2009.
