Finally Electronic Arts released its Dante’s Inferno for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game Dante’s Inferno is based on the poem ‘The Divine Comedy’ and is offered in Europe, users in North America has to wait till February 9. The game has a price tag of $60, also it can be used for both platforms.

The game was created by Visceral games. It is the journey of the Dante’s Inferno, the hero has to go through nine circles of hell in order to save his beloved Beatrice, he will have to fight with the demons of each circle.

Also according to Visceral, the company will launch the first downloadable content pack dubbed Dark Forest that is considered to be a prequel level in March. It is the level of Dante’s journey home and his struggle with new enemies, puzzles and relics. In April Trails of Saint Lucia will be offered, it is an in-game combat editor as well as playable character.

With the help of the in-game combat editor, a user will be able to create his own combat trails and also share it with other gamers, he will only need to upload it. DLC packs will provide skins, souls, relics and magic to have more power when going through the hell.

Dante’s Inferno for PlayStation Portable will be launched on February 22.
