Lenovo to launch Tablet PC shortly

Lenovo had released its handset in the markets to compete with Apple’s iPhone 4. Now it plans to launch a tablet PC by the end of this year. The device is called LePad and it will use Android mobile operating system

The company’s senior vice president Liu Jun has confirmed the device and its launch in this year. Earlier this money, he has said that Apple had not focused the Chinese market and if it had spent more on the market then Lenovo would be in trouble.

Lenovo started to sell its smartphone LePhone this year and the strategy of the company is to win the customers in China before it starts to sell it abroad. The company has hoped that its share of mobile Internet hardware and services could go up to 10-20 percent in next five years.

Samsung has releases new Q-series laptops. A features of these laptops is that all of them come with HD LED display, isolated keys and lifestyle features. The company had already announced these devices for the UK market, but now it plans to release them across the world.

According to the new reports, the new Q-series has laptops under Q330, Q430 and Q530. The company has said that these devices are meant for maximum productivity while you are traveling. The company has said that the high end Q530 has 15.6 HD LED display and has a 16:9 aspect ration. The notebook will also have Core i3 or Core i5 microprocessor. The laptop has a powerful graphic and it has Nvidia GeForce GT330m graphics.

The high end laptop has a video memory of GDDR3. Apart from these features, the laptop has an ad-hoc Wi-Fi connection for allowing transfer between tow Wi-Fi enabled devices. The Q430 has 14 inch HD LED display and it weighs 2. 09 kg and most of the features are that of Q530. Other laptop Q330 has 13. 3 inch HD LED display and it weighs 1.97 kg. It has hybrid graphics features.

Lenovo starts shipping of Idea Pad Y560

Lenovo has started shipping of its Idea Pad Y560 this week. The Idea Pad includes the TriDef 3D system, NVIDIA powered 3D technology and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 GPU.

Apart from these features, the unit offers a 15.6 inch display having an output up to 1366×768 pixels of resolution.

Lenovo has also launched a 1.60GHz quad Core i7 processor, which is first of its kind to hit the market. The device is powered by 4GB RAM and a 500GB HDD. The purchasing of these devices can be directly made from Lenovo and through various Lenovo retailers.

Lenovo has assured of various versions of future systems ranging from Core i3 to i7 processors having up to 1.86GHz speeds and peripherals that include Blu-ray drives, the Lenovo hybrid storage system, quick-boot 64GB SSD, and Rapid Drive technology, though the system is straightforward at this time.

Sony to issue software to tackle overheating of Vaio laptop

Sony has begun to offer solution to the users of its Vaio laptops to solve the problem of its overheating. The company said on Wednesday that it has started providing free software updates to above half a million users of the laptop after receiving the complaints.

The company is offering the software through download offer to fix the problem. It has sent email to the registered users about the software. It is to be noted that Sony had recalled 9.6 million laptop batteries on quality concerns in 2006.

The company responded with the software as it had received 39 problem reports saying that the laptops become overheated and distortion of its shape also was reported. 26 such complain have come from the U.S. Some reports say that a total of 535, 000 Vaio laptops are likely to be under impact of overheating and shape distortion. These cases include US, Japan, Europe and rest of Asia.

About the overheating of the laptop, Sony has come out with the explanation that it could be when a user plugs in an adapter in order to charge the battery at the time when the poser is used up. Sony looks for registering benefits this financial years after posing losses for two straight years.
