BSNL brings its 3G Service to Mangalore

Taking a step forward to the expansion, BSNL is now offering its 3G services in Mangalore as well.

3G is the next generation mobile communications system that enhances the services like multimedia, high speed mobile broadband, internet access with the capability to view video footage on the mobile handset.

Using a 3G phone with the access to the 3G network one can make video calls, watch live TV, access the high speed internet, receive emails and download music tracks.

BSNL has an expansion plan to offer 3G in 32 towns across the state of Karnataka. It is expected that in the next two months, all the district headquarters in the state will be 3G enabled.
