Apple-Apple bought the online music-streaming service Lala. Everyone is puzzled with the new acquisition of Apple and does not understand its sense. Doubts occurred concerning the future of Apple’s iTunes music service, moreover, some people consider that Apple’s iTunes and Lala’s will function together.

There are opinions according to which Apple made the purchase in order to rival with such competitors like Rhapsody and Napster. They say that Apple will use Lala’s current format.

Moving to streaming videos is beneficial for users as when they download streaming videos they have an opportunity to save space on hard drive.

Those users that are big lovers of music are able to load a big hard drive with music. It is possible to launch their music collections onto a 160 gigabyte hard drive. Due to improvements video files are becoming bigger but it won’t take a lot of time to fill up a hard drive with video files. Furthermore, online storage as well as streaming would be more beneficial for video than music.

The strategy of Apple is to move into an established market and revolutionize it. The same thing was made with the iPod and the iPhone.

Amazon provides a cloud-based retail store. Users can store and stream television episodes and movies even from their browsers. The movie streaming service known as EPIX just appeared in the market and it is something like an exciting addition to online video.
